South African Pacer , Tsotsobe , banned for eight years due to spot fixing

Cricket South Africa (CSA) restricted previous Proteas quick bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe for a long time on Tuesday over match settling in a 2015 T20 Challenge Series.The body affirmed in an announcement Tsotsobe, 33, had confessed to repudiating the counter defilement code and “has been restricted for a long time”.Tsotsobe at first denied association in the settling, and the restriction forbids him from contribution in any part of the game locally and universally.

CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said “obviously he was dynamic in plans to partake in spot settling and subsequently the authorize forced on him.”The player has apologized for his activity, saying he was “in an exceptionally helpless money related state and this difficulty too effectively influenced me to take an interest in spot settling”.The restriction keeps running from 24 April 2017.
