Islamic State (IS) claimed the responsibility of the deadly attack on Hazara community rally in Afghanistan capital, which left 80 killed and 231 injured, Afghan Interior Ministry told in a statement today.
According to details, a huge number of Hazara Shia were protesting against a power supply line in Kabul, where two suicide bombers blown themselves, IS news agency claimed.
Afghan Taliban denied any attachment to the incident, while they condemned the brutal act, taliban spokesperson Zabeeh Ullah said in a press release.
President Ghani excoriated the attack, remarked that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen but opportunist terrorists take this is an opportunity, killed innocents, including security forces.
It is to be worthy mentioned that Hazara is the third largest community in Afghanistan, living mostly in the middle of the country.
