Manchester United signed Paul Pogba in a world record transfer in August 2016. The France International came through United’s academy and moved to Italian team Juventus. He finally rejoined United for £89m in the summer transfer window of 2016.
The French midfielder returned to Old Trafford in a world record deal this week.
But he will have to wait to make his second United debut because a ban he incurred in Italy carries over to England. The 23-year-old picked up two bookings during Juventus’ Coppa Italia campaign – the second in their 1-0 win over AC Milan in the final – resulting in a one-game suspension. He could now restart his United career against Southampton when they visit Old Trafford next Friday.
